Fenfen Lyu

Fenfen Lyu comes from China and is a PhD student in the Language Acquisition in Multilingual Settings (LAMS) programme at the University of the Basque Country. She is supervised by Professor David Lasagabaster. Her thesis title is, “Exploring the relationship (or not) between EAP course performance and EMI subject content course”.

Fenfen holds a BA in English and Masters in TESOL from University of Liverpool. She has been an EAP lecturer at universities since 2018 and worked in a variety of contexts such as English bridge program (Pre-sessional for postgraduate students), EGAP program for year 1 undergraduate students and ESAP courses for year 2 undergraduate learners. She is now an EAP lecturer at the Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University in China
