Irene Alonso Arruabarrena
Irene Alonso Arruabarrena is a PhD student supervised by Dr. David Lasagabaster at the University of the Basque Country. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in English Studies from the University of the Basque Country (2019), and holds a master’s degree in Language Acquisition in Multilingual Settings from the same university (2021). Currently, she is working as an English teacher at a private language school, and also gives extracurricular lessons of English at a school in the Basque Country. Her PhD dissertation focuses on the impact of language anxiety on English- and Basque-Medium Instruction.
