Janire Guerrero Gómez
She is a PhD student supervised by Professors María del Pilar García Mayo and David Lasagabaster at the University of the Basque Country. She holds a BA in English Studies from the University of the Basque Country (2014) and she completed a MA programme in Language Acquisition in Multilingual Settings at the same university (2016). Janire has worked as an EFL teacher in private language schools in Spain and she is now an EFL teacher at the National University of Distance Education (UNED) in Portugalete (Bizkaia). Her current PhD thesis revolves around the influence of pre-task modelling and affective variables (motivation, anxiety and willingness to communicate) on the learning opportunities in collaborative pair tasks and has been granted with an FPI (Formación del Personal Investigador) scholarship from the University of the Basque Country.
