Simone Smala
Dr. Simone Smala is a leading scholar in bilingual education research in Australia and works at the University of Queensland in Brisbane. She has published in key journals such as the British Journal of Sociology of Education, The Language Learning Journal and Discourse – Studies in the Cultural Politics of Education. She is part of the Bolzano Partnership with Do Coyle which was established to research CLIL in languages other than English. Currently, she is completing a Systematic Literature Review on Languages and Social Cohesion with Gaby Meier, supported by a research grant at the University of Exeter, UK.
